Time and patience was the key to this, the photographer's favorite turtle shot. Shot on Maui's south side, this image took a combination of waiting for the line up of a turtle and the sun as well as keeping any bubbles out of the frame. Because this image was made at a 45 degree angle, the picture can be equally as powerful in a vertical (portrait) or horizontal (landscape) orientation.
