Long referred to as the "7 Sacred Pools" most Maui visitors are now wise to the fact that this is a huge misnomer. They have never been considered sacred by anyone and there are far more than 7 pools. If fact, depending on where you draw the line, there could be hundreds of pools. Regardless of the name, this is a fun place to swim and carefully dive from rocks. Michael was here as the sun was just rising to capture the morning light, shadows, reflection and all without the crowd of swimmers that would arrive in a couple of hours.
