Secret Beach, also known as Wedding Beach, Makena Cove, and a few other names, is a picturesque little beach at the south end of Makena on the south side of Maui. This shot was taken as the sun was rising over the southern end of Haleakala, giving the sky some wonderful pastel colors. The detail in the crashing waves and the lava foreground is stunning.
